Tonight was a drinking night. Got a case of Coors and made my way over to a friends house to hang out. But in my case mostly just watch. Which I guess can sound weird not in the right context. Im not much of a socialize. So if you're not talking to me I am not going to go up to you and start talking first. But regardless. I found my self at a party if you want to call it that and couple people asked me if I wanted to go. Well tell you the truth I dont know where, but I said sure. Jump in there car and we were off.

Ended up at a..what I would call a club of sorts but the size of a bar with lost of "security" and bouncers. While I can dance I do not find the need to dry hump girls in the middle of a well populated dance floor. So I made off for the bar to get drink. Maybe the idea of "dancing" at these clubs has not stuck me due to my company but I dont think I would ever care for it. I felt high strung with what I was watching of girls kissing girls, guys humping girls [so called dancing] and guys walking around look for a fight or something. I felt like I got plopped down in the middle of apes and they were currently dueling for the alpha male position...

I had a drink and luckily the people I came with were not looking to join in on the evenings activities so I stood around with them for a while and just observed what people were doing. Apparently we had come there to wish a girl happy birthday, but we had to wait because when we arrived she was on stage involved in some sort of wet/dance competition [kinda like a wet t-shirt contest but no nudity].

Over the 2 hr period I was there I watched 6 guys get drag off by bouncers and 3 girls for fighting. At one point I had a bouncer through a guy into me, luckily I was against a wall and had a bottle of beer so I did not spill any. They people I went with talked the birthday girl as I watched and tried to make the most of it. Soon realized why I hadnt done that before, I didn't much enjoy it...


The point of this is I just don't understand the fascination with "clubbing". Perhaps like I said before its the people I hang out with. But I would much rather buy 6 beers for $5 then 1 for $2 and dry hump in the privacy of my own home. While not having people through into me...

But now I can say Ive tried it/done it. Also at the same time maybe its just the company I currently employee..... I don't think it matters I don't care for it much.
